Ksenia Kaas had a difficult childhood. Born in Russia, her parents were one of the first people to open their own business after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Running that business put her family in danger so her parents sent her to live in London where she started college. In school, she was noticed by a modeling agent who signed her and she began modeling while going to school. In 2000 she moved back to Moscow where she started acting, landing her first big role which ignited her acting passion. She still models, but splits time acting. When she is not working she loves to paint, read, and ride horses.
